We must reciprocate that support if we want to continue experiencing the transcendent power of this art. Because music improves our lives.Ī great record won't fix your problems, but it makes those problems easier to process, easier to live with, and can offer perspective you didn't know you needed. The precarity of the music industry has been widely publicised of late, and for good reason. They'll continue to create amidst great personal, professional, and financial struggle, not because they're deluded, because they have no other choice.
